High: Going to my SF-12 Christmas party.
Low: crashing on my bike and getting sore, bruised, and cut.
Goal: to have a blast at the Christmas Banquet at my church.
Question: how come two siblings (like me and my sister) can be so different? (She is special needs, I am in all three honors classes)...

Wow..... tough question. That depends on what you mean by different, beacause that could come up with some very different answers. If your talking about personality differences then sometimes it's probably just that the sibling want to be independent, and the fact that everyone is created in their own unique way. Whereas in the case of you and your sister it's probably some complex scientific explantion that took years of hard core study to figure out, and once again the fact that everyone is unique and different.
ReplyDeleteI believe that the more children that a couple has the better chance there is that they will have a child with brain that functions differently than their siblings. i.e I am an only child so I can't be compared to.
ReplyDeleteI think Emily (Anna) got it pretty good with her responce. My uncle was the last kid of 5, so to get attention, he would act completly different than his siblings. I think each person is different than their sibling because no one wants to be just like their brothers or sisters.
ReplyDeleteThere is a scentific reason for it involving the gene pool and all of the posiblilities of different combinations of characteristics of your ancestors (just like math).
I agree with Jacob S. I was watching a show about a family that had a set of twins, then another set of twins, and then sextuplets. One of the sextuplets has several opalsy (i have not the faintest idea of how to spell that sorry). A lot of times if you have multiples one of them will end up with a disability. I guess that doesn't really help with your question, but oh well maybe whoever is reading this learned something new :)
